ABOUT US
Welcome to the Louisiana State Coroner’s Association (LSCA) website. The LSCA was established to develop a professional organization to unite and promote the vast work of coroner offices across the state. The jurisdiction of the coroner involves death, mental health and sexual assault. If you have a general question, please email us via email on our contact link.
The LSCA is a 501(c)(4) and does NOT have any governing authority over an individually elected coroner. All questions or comments that involve a specific parish should be directed to the office of the coroner in that parish.

The significance of the Coroner’s office duties in the public cannot be overstated, therefore, the Louisiana State Coroner’s Association strives for a constant progression of elevated and uniform operations across the state.
