Sips to Save Lives 2024
Save the Date for our 2024 siganture event, Sips to Save Lives! In 2023, we were able to raise $200,000 at this event for our pups. We hope you will be able to join us on Saturday, November 2nd and help make this is our most successful year yet. More information coming soon.
LHK9 2024 Service Trip
Last Hope K9 Rescue partners with several shelters in the Greater Little Rock, Arkansas area. Through our annual service trips, LH has helped greatly improve rural shelters through fundraising, repairs and special projects. FOSTERS NEEDED
PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG
Since the country “reopened” in 2021 following COVID pandemic shutdowns, dogs have been surrendered to shelters in record numbers – numbers higher than before COVID. It has been beyond difficult to find foster and adoptive homes. Dogs and animal welfare have been put to the side again, as everyone tries to regain the personal time they lost to a pandemic. Please consider fostering a dog (or two!) if you are able.
We don’t discriminate on the basis of age, pre-existing medical conditions, or breed.
Why? Because every animal deserves to know love.

New Beginnings
"Dali's mom, Charleigh, was stuck in a shelter without much protection and was pulled by an Arkansas foster, Heather M., so she could safely give birth at home. Heather cared for Charleigh until her FOURTEEN puppies were born - my dog Dali being one of them. Four puppies and mom stayed in Arkansas and the ten other pups came up here to Last Hope! My dog Dali was one of those ten puppies. Since adopting her, I have gone on to become a foster for LHK9 Rescue as well."

Not only did he wiggle his way into my heart (and everyone's who meets him), but he motivated me to become a volunteer with Last Hope. I started out processing references and doing home visits, and now also foster and update the dog profile database. I have learned so much from the Last Hope adoptive family community, and have been so inspired by the Last Hope volunteers that literally put their blood, sweat & tears into saving as many dogs as possible. A Great Cause
"I adopted Celine (fka Daisy from Beverly Hillbillies) almost three years ago. My family and friends told me how much work having a dog is and that I shouldn't make that commitment on my own but I'm so happy I did. I met Celine at an event after having my eye on a littermate but she came right up to me and sat on my lap! Instantly I fell in love and learned patience and time management training her as a puppy. Even after the worst day at work, I am much happier playing with my pup or taking her for a walk. Having such a great experience, I started volunteering with Last Hope processing applications. I recently moved to Buffalo and am now applying to foster a dog! I can't thank Last Hope enough for my puppy and educating me on a great cause."
