Donor Testimonials

“I saw how wheelchair recipients found light, freedom, and joy, to know that as human beings, they matter and are loved.”

~ Kathy from California

“To the able-bodied observer, my wheelchair may represent adversity, their eyes perceiving only loss. but my wheelchair does not imprison me; it empowers me. For this reason, I choose to support Free Wheelchair Mission and their work to give the gift of mobility to those in need. Everyone deserves to enjoy such freedom.”

~ Ashley from Indiana

This past weekend, a group from the OC Women's Council for Mobility, along with their families, got outside for a beautiful hike to kick off Move for Mobility! They brought 3 of our GEN_3 wheelchairs, pushing them on the kind of rugged terrain someone in a developing country might use them on.The hiking trail simulated the landscapes that many of our wheelchair recipients might have to navigate each day for basic trips to markets, school, and even work. What a powerful way to better understand the need for wheelchairs in developing countries!Thank you, OC Women’s Council for Mobility, for helping us raise awareness and funds for the transforming gift of mobility this May!Interested in joining Move for Mobility?
