Prospective parents and students are encouraged to join us for a range of transition opportunities to prepare you for your journey to Elizabeth College in 2025.

Information Evening – Wednesday 5 June

We invite all prospective parents/carers and students to join us for our Information Evening on Wednesday 5 June. We will be running sessions at 4.30 and 5.30pm in the College Theatre. The session will begin with a presentation in our Theatre introducing key staff and outlining initiatives the College has to offer, followed by a subject expo in our Gym where you will have an opportunity to meet teaching staff, find out about subjects and ask any questions you may have. Taster Day – Tuesday 11 June

Enrolments are now open for our Taster Day which will be held at Elizabeth College on Tuesday 11 June.

Join us for a Tour of the Campus

We invite all prospective students and their parents/carers to join us for a College Tour. This will be an opportunity to see the campus, visit specialised subject areas, meet our leadership team, and hear from current students.

Tours will run from 3.30-4.30pm on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 25 June
  • Tuesday 30 July
  • Tuesday 20 August
  • Tuesday 17 September

Bookings are essential and can be made here.  Please meet at the main office by 3.25pm.

We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of 143 students covering 180 awards (academic and service based) this Tuesday, 13 December.
We congratulate our dux, Mackenzie, on her ATAR of 99.05 along with our 5 students in the top 101 in the state, 40 students with ATARs above 90, a further 26 with ATARs above 80 and the 101 VET students who achieved Certificates 1 and 2 in their time at EC.
We will celebrate the opportunities on offer and the diverse community that we have shared over the last year.

Update on Public Consultation

Today the Minister for Education, Children and Youth released the consultation report on the future model for Hobart City High School and Elizabeth College. You can read the full report here.

The report found overwhelming support for both schools to remain separate and the Government has accepted this finding. We will continue to grow the partnership that began in 2021 so we can deliver strong educational pathways for learners towards employment, training or higher learning.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the consultation. It was a highly valuable process to help understand what we need to do next to make sure all students can continue to work towards a bright future.

ConnECt 2023

We look forward to welcoming all new students to Elizabeth College in 2024 at our ConnECt program from the 4-8 December (new students joining us for year 12 are also invited). Parents will receive an email with information about the program from Monday 6 November.
