Principal's Message

A warm welcome to each one who visits the Don Bosco School Park Circus website. It is through this medium that we offer you an insight into the school lives and activities of our students and members of the staff.

Prospectus

Don Bosco School, Park Circus, Kolkata, established in 1958, is an English Medium Anglo-Indian School for Catholic boys administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco (Northern India). As such it is a minority institution belonging to the Catholic Church. Provision is also made for the admissions of non-Catholic boys.

Calendar

The school Calendar is the annual academic and co-curricular programmes of the school printed together with the school diary and distributed to every student at the beginning of the year. It contains schedules of Tests, Examinations, Vacations, Sports Day, Rector’s and Parents’ day and other important events of the students. It helps both students and parents to plan their year for academic and leisure. A copy is displayed here in the website for our friends and well-wishers.

St John Bosco

John Bosco the father and friend of youth was born on August 16, 1815, in a peasant family in the little hamlet of Becchi, some 20 kilometers from Turin, Italy. When John was only two years old his father, Francis Bosco passed away. His grief stricken mother, Margaret Occiena Bosco, had a harrowing time to bring him up.
