You work hard to take care of your home. We want to make things easier by offering new ways for you to save energy and money. The Helping Neighbors program helps income-qualified households save on monthly energy costs by offering a free home energy assessment as well as up to $150 in energy saving products, all at no cost to you

  • LED bulbs
  • LED nightlights
  • Pipe wrap, showerheads, and faucet aerators
    (Electric water heater customers)

Two Ways to Save Energy and Money

Home Energy Analysis.

A trained energy expert will visit your home and complete an assessment lasting up to 60-minutes. During this time you will be provided with energy saving tips along with a personalized home energy report. At the end of your appointment, with your permission, your energy analyst will install some of the energy saving products listed above throughout your home.

Over the phone, a trained energy expert will discuss how your home uses energy and identify the best opportunities for you to save energy and money while also improving your comfort. After completing your appointment you will receive a personalized home energy report as well as LED bulbs and nightlights. Your kit may also include pipe wrap, showerheads, and kitchen and bathroom aerators.

Eligibility

  • Reside in a single-family home, duplex, mobile home, or condo/apartment. If residing in an apartment it must be town home style - separate entrances with no common areas and separate furnace and A/C unit, with individual meters.
  • Current electric customer (Natural gas only or natural gas and electric customers click here).
  • Renters and homeowners are both eligible.
  • Helping Neighbors program eligibility is based on household size and corresponding household income levels as follows:

For families with more than 8 persons, add $10,760 for each additional.
