56096 did not operate on Tuesday, and appears to have spent the week at Eastleigh. Similarly 69011 at the T&RSMD, and reported moved to the Yard on Thursday.

975814 is a Conference Coach, originally a prototype HST TF coach 11000, later 41000, built to Lot 30848 at Derby in 1972, converted to Test Car 10 in 1981.It does not have the beaded window surrounds seen on production vehicles.

43274 approaches a red signal at Romsey.

Where it was possible to get this' up close and personal' encounter with 43274, once Spirit of Sunderland, originally 43074, built January 1978.

69008 delivers 458401, Totton, 30th April 2024

69008 Richard Howe (+ 458401) 5X64 11:35 Wembley - Southampton, 5Q64 15:34 Southampton - Bournemouth.

69008 leads the train past the level crossing.

About to pass under the Brokenford Lane bridge, with barrier 64707 Labezerin behind 69008.

458401 first car was DMS(B) 67701.

New batch of FEA-G wagons for GBRf traffic, Eastleigh, 26th April 2024

 

66728, with nameplate missing on one side, 4M46 14:21 Southampton W Docks (Gbrf) -Trafford Pk Euro Tml Gbrf. The train included a batch of 20 new FEA-G wagons 81.70.4663.321-7 to 340-7 in 10 pairs. Overall, 200 wagons have been approved within this second batch, plus another 40 for Wascosa.. The 20 wagons were delivered from Greenbrier-Astra Rail in Romania, and were first reported in Southampton on 8th - 9th March.
