Peaches Nurses Uniforms

I'm always on the look out for new uniforms. While I was searching the internet, I came across a great little company that sells fantastic nurses uniforms called Peaches. For the most part they deal in stylish scrubs that most nurses wear nowadays. (if you like scrubs, I would highly reccommend them. They have some very cute styles in both pants and tops)

BUT!!! Unlike most companies that only deal in scrubs they also sell classic white uniforms. There are sooooo many to choose from that I hardly know where to beg
in. I picked my two favorites to detail here in this post.

The first one to the right is the Short Sleeve Dress with Ivy Vine Insert. It is a short sleeve, double-breasted dress with set-in waist detail, full front button closure, back multi-elastic waist and shoulder pads. In a very comfy and breathable 75% Poly / 25% cotton poplin blend.

The next dress is a A-Line Dress with Back Button. It is a Short sleeve, single-breasted princess line dress with full skirt, full front button closure, back waist detail, side seam pockets and shoulder pads. It comes in a very cool 65% Poly / 35% Cotton Poplin blend.

I really really like this dress. I've been looking for a classic Nurse's dress like this one for some time. It has everything that I wanted in a dress: the crisp white cotton/poly blend, the short puffed out sleeves with shoulder pads that make you look like such a girlie girl, the classic princess seams and a-line skirt that compliment any figure, even a back waist belt that pulls it in tight to accentuate your figure.

I can just imagine being a male student who is just starting nursing school. It is an old-fashioned nursing school, but I didn't think much of it, as it was the only one that I got in to. I lived in a dorm on campus, and every morning I would wake up and find a fresh pair of scrubs hanging in my closet. But one day...I find a crisp white uniform dress hanging there instead. Was this some sort of mistake? I had seen the other girls wearing them from time to time but I never thought much of it or knew why. What could it mean? What was I to do???

Den Mother

As of late I've been fascinated by feminine uniforms. I have my theories about what exactly draws me to them, but I'm not certain if any of them are true. I think part of the thrill for me when crossdressing is the humiliation involved in imaging I'm being forced into women's clothing. A uniform takes that a step further by enforcing an even stricter dress code, hence enhancing the experience.

Taking it a step beyond that, there are certain uniforms that when you see them, they are instantly associated with femininity. Uniforms also carry with them a certain degree of subservience. Those that serve wear uniforms, whatever the uniform may be. A maid or housekeeper's dress, a nurse's uniform (before they began wearing scrubs) and a cocktail waitress's dress, are all examples of badges of servitude and femininity (two things which are deliciously embarrassing). I'm fascinated by all of these uniforms (and more!) and my pursuit of them will be a reoccurring topic in my blog.

My uniform of choice today is that of a cub scout Den Mother. When I was a cub scout, I remember looking fondly at the uniform that are Den Mother wore and fantasizing that I too could wear something like that.

The modern uniform consists of a yellow blouse with the Den Leader's choice of either navy blue shorts, pants or culottes. When worn with culottes, the scout leader is allowed to wear hose and high heels. (I love that! Uniforms are so strict! You have to be "allowed" to wear hose and high heels with a certain combination of the outfit)

Doing some research, I found that the Den Mother Uniform from the 1950-60's was an even more delicious fetish fantasy. It combines both my love of uniforms with my love of 1950's fashions. The classic uniform of yesteryear consisted of a maize blouse, a navy blue skirt, and a navy blue hat. I've edited a picture I found from a 1958 Den Mother's Den Book with the standards of the Den Mother Uniform to make it a little more...sissyish!

Perhaps I was a lazy father that didn't spend enough time with the children? To teach me a lesson that I wouldn't forget, my wife and the rest of the women in the neighborhood get together and decide to make me a 1950's style Den Mother. They go through a long process of feminizing me. My eyebrows are plucked, arched and pencil thin; my makeup is flawless; my hair is lightly curled with that classic hat bobby-pinned in place; and acrylic nails with a French manicure are added.

My body is shaved and they dress me in a virgin white bra and thong. A garter belt is then added, with the sheerest stocking they could find. They then put the blouse on me, which they fuss with for a moment before having me slide into the navy blue skirt that they zip up the back. High heel pumps are set out for me, which I step into and teeter precariously. Finally, the navy tie is placed around my neck, like a heavy collar, completing the uniform.

I stand there, with all of the women's eyes on me, each in their own more modern Den Leader uniforms. They criticize and critique my posture and dress, walking around me in circles with some sort of checklist that they are using to grade my uniform. I stare at my feet, not knowing what to do. When done, they inform me that I will need to go through extensive Den Mother training. I will need to learn everything that the scouts will learn along with everything that the perfect housewife would know. As their words wash over me I shudder...what had I gotten into.
