Unscrupulous healthcare professionals who profit handsomely from inflicting “gender-affirming care” on children may use emotional blackmail to get parents to go along, convincing them that the horrific procedures will make the mentally disturbed child being victimized less likely to commit suicide. “Better a live daughter than a dead son,” distraught parents are told. Like every other aspect of transgenderism, this is an outrageous lie.

In a new study, those who underwent sex change surgery were 12 times more likely to commit suicide than those who did not:

The study utilized patient data from 56 health care organizations in the U.S. and over 90 million patients. Four different groups of patients were looked at in the study, including 1,501 people aged 18-60 who had “gender-affirming surgery” and an emergency visit (cohort A) and 15,608,363 adults who visited the emergency room but had no “gender-affirming surgery” (cohort B). The third group (cohort C) included 142,093 “adults with emergency visits, tubal ligation or vasectomy, but no gender-affirming surgery,” while a fourth group of patients with pharyngitis (cohort D) was studied “to validate the results from cohort C.”

“Data from February 4, 2003, to February 4, 2023, were analyzed to examine suicide attempts, death, self-harm, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) within five years of the index event,” the study said, adding that its results found that “Individuals who underwent gender-affirming surgery had a 12.12-fold higher suicide attempt risk than those who did not.”

Few reasonable people will be surprised by these results. Having your body painfully disfigured into a freakish parody of the opposite sex is hardly likely to improve mental health. Nonetheless, the wicked lie that sexually mutilating children protects them from suicide is pushed by the liberal establishment, including the Biden Regime.

Oakland has been experiencing high crime and theft, including people stealing copper wires and the city’s infrastructure, according to locals who spoke to CBS News.

Bums have been stealing not only the wire but the electricity itself, thereby screwing up the traffic lights.

The city attempted to thwart criminals tampering with its electrical boxes by placing cement barriers over them – to no avail. Now, the city has taken to removing the traffic lights at a busy intersection and replacing them with stop signs.

Flushing away the drug-addled derelicts is out of the question. California spends a great deal of other people’s money to grow its impressive homeless population.

Despite being only 17 years old, the brutality of the crime resulted in Carroll being charged as an adult with three counts of kidnapping for ransom, two counts of robbery, and three counts of oral copulation by force.

Just the kind of fellow the moonbats running the system would put in a women’s prison, until forced to take him out following the predictable consequences.
