Seattle, Chicago or Dallas,

SFO, Atlanta or Vegas,

Philly, Boston or DC,

Miami, New Orleans or AC.

Been there, done that, now what?

This is when I started thinking, why was I still missing the basic essence of a vacation, the basic essence of a living, the basic essence of earning, and the basic essence of spending. I was wondering what made me miss The Big Apple of America, The Vacation City. This is my take on the City that has got everything to offer, an offer you possibly cannot reject.

26^th president was born in a Brownstone townhouse of this city,

Crossroads of the World is known for being Fun, Friendly & First City.

The City is worlds largest, with five boroughs,

Citi is the biggest, to lend and borrow.

Beer at Water Taxi Beach is a treat,

Stone street was once known as Brewers Street.

Tourists are always posing at Charging Bull,

Zuccotti Park is famous for Hot dogs and Falafel.

Long legs in summer,

Woolen coats in December.

Roadside shopping on the streets of Soho,

Subway humming when you travel solo.

Green by all, on St Patrick’s in downtown,

Fairs and Sales on the streets of Chinatown.

The City So Nice They Named It Twice,
Lunch for two, averages twelve bucks in price.

Barnes and Nobles at Union Square,

Lots of places to tag in FB and Four Square.

NYPD on the roads,

Victoria secret models on ad-boards.

One Way is to your right,

The girl you winked at, just left.

Madison to host Knicks NBA game,

Yankees are fav’s in the MLB’s hall of fame.

Broadway theater is filled with claps,

Every sky scrapper stands out in your snaps.

Gothamite’s busy checking their Apple and Blackberry,

Fashion Ave has stores averaging Gap, Gucci and Burberry.

Empire City casinos to try your luck,

City touring is better than riding the duck.

The Capital of the World is what they say,

Millions of dreams turn to reality every day.
