I haven’t posted anything in a while, so here ya go! I only recently got my video editor back up and running. Something went wrong and I couldn’t even get it to start up until last week.

Travels! …Sort of.
Alright, so it’s been ages and forever. But I’ve been busy with puppies, cats, birds, and school. Yeah, my house is a zoo. Heh. Anyway, I’ve recently–that means the past few months by the way–gone to a marsh in New Jersey and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Snapped a few hundred photos. Figured I’d show some off here.
Life is Like a Boat [Cover]
Been a while, huh. My old microphone finally died, and so I ordered one a few days ago. It came in the mail just yesterday, and I’m totally loving it. It’s an AT2020 USB Condenser Microphone, and it’s freaking awesome. As a test run, I sang Life is Like a Boat with a midi I converted into an mp3–after removing the ‘vocal’ track from the midi. I really had no idea what I was doing, but in the end it all worked out.
This is also my first time using Adobe Audition 3.0 to mix my recording. It was fun figuring everything out.

Honestly, I know the title makes little sense. I made this sig for a friend of mine whom I call Ferret! There’s a reason for that.
Hectic!
So, the semester has long since begun, and I’m busier than I can ever remember–even when compared to my first semester here. It’s not just classes either.
First, our pet turtle Midori had to be rushed to the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. The poor thing. =/
And just this Saturday, Sho, our dear kitty had to be taken to the vet. And we went again yesterday. The poor cat is terrified of towels now after how many times we had to turn him into a burrito to get the medicine into his system. >_<;

No, it’s just my singing. =) I’ve recently begun uploading to Youtube. Thankfully the website allows HD now. I used to hate it for its low quality. Now that it has HQ, I can stop hating it.
Yes, I need to lower the volume of voice in this one, or at least raise the volume of the music. ^^; But seeing as this is basically the practice version, I’m not going to worry about it too much. Still learning the song after all.
