We are pleased to inform you about two large, free conferences which are taking place in
Organised by the What Makes the Difference? Project (WMTD) and CareandHealth, these two national conferences provide a unique opportunity for policy makers, managers and ‘involved’ young people to come together to hear about and discuss the key messages from the Care Matters: Time for Change White Paper. These inclusive events aim to showcase the Care Matters proposals with related examples of practice from across the country. We will give those attending an opportunity to see how to make “The Difference” i.e. how workers, managers and policy makers, alongside our young people, can work together to improve outcomes.
Contributors for the conference programme include representatives from the government, DCFS, OFSTED and ADCS along with research messages from Professor Mike Stein at
