A heartfelt thanks to all of you who donated to support NAR’s efforts to save the starving Brown Pelicans.
Since April 18, NAR received 210 pelicans, sometimes as many as 23 per day. The number has slowed to no more than three per day.
After providing first aid and and nourishment, 125 of the pelicans were transported to International Bird Rescue in Fairfield CA where they will be cared for until they are strong enough to be released.
