Roddy, Jr. Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award! 🎉 As an associate professor in the @merrimackwsesp, she sought to work with English learners to use language to help others. Her engagement and energy in the classroom, approachability and care for students earned her nominations from both students and peers!

Now that she has her bachelor’s degree in biology, Sedona Gillard ‘24 plans on pursuing a master’s in marine vertebrate ecology and conservation at the University of Exeter in London. Before graduating from Merrimack this May, she spent her final semester interning at @newenglandaquarium!

As the Class of 2024 embarks on new adventures, we`re highlighting what`s next for our Warriors! First up is Kendra Link ’24, who is starting her career in early childhood education as a lead kindergarten classroom teacher in Lawrence, Mass.
Starting her first year, Kendra`s involvement with @jumpstart_merrimack gave her the opportunity to teach in a preschool setting. Now, she heads to her own classroom feeling confident and prepared, thanks to her experience and the support from Merrimack faculty! Congratulations, Kendra!

Maxwell Beland ’24 is proud of the legacy he’s leaving behind on campus. Because of that legacy, he was awarded the Merrimack Medal, the College`s highest non-academic award, for exemplifying outstanding character and achievement of service to his classmates and the community.
As he takes the next step in his journey, he will pursue a master’s degree at the University of New Hampshire’s Franklin Pierce School of Law, hoping to one day serve as a diplomat for the U.S. State Department. Congratulations, Maxwell!
