How to safely dispose of your Medications and medical sharps

Medications

If you look in your medicine cabinet, chances are you’ll find expired or unused medications. From tablets you bought just in case you got sick on a trip to the leftover cough syrup to pain medications you didn’t use up to those old birth control pills.

Medical Sharps

If anyone in your household requires medical sharps due to their health condition, it is essential to dispose of them properly. Discarding them in the trash could result in needle stick injuries to household members, pets, housekeepers, janitors, and municipal workers.

The Process

Gather your unwanted medications and used medical sharps.

Place medications and medical sharps in separate zip-lock bags for safety.
