Teresa Grayshaw, North Belt ElementaryOne of my quietest 5th grade students became one of my most engaged. When she and her group prepared their performance piece, they chose a song from Moana. She and her group learned all the chords and sang along too. It is said that the quietest people have the loudest minds. The ukulele gave my students a way to show their potential in a safe and comfortable environment.
