ADOPT LILY FROM THE HANCOCK COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER!
Meet LILY, a 2-3 yr old old Swiss Shepherd mix! Lily is deaf, but she would be a loving companion for a single person/couple willing to learn how to communicate effectively with a her (if not already experienced with hearing impaired dogs). The shelter would also consider a family home for Lily, particularly if the children were old enough to be involved in training. As you can imagine, introductions to unfamiliar dogs must be “gentle and gradual” to help ensure compatibility. A calm-natured, friendly dog would be an ideal canine companion for Lily.
