Displays & Exhibits
Western Libraries is pleased to celebrate Pride and to highlight a selection of items in our collections and partner libraries through Summit, to give voice to the many intersectional identities in the LGBTQ+ community.
Selected from nearly 1,200 rare books donated to Western Libraries by award-winning author and inaugural U.S. Children’s Poet Laureate Jack Prelutsky, the material in this exhibition spans two hundred and fifty years in the history of poetry for the young and young at heart.
Whether you need help with your thesis statement, finding sources for a research paper, or citations and proofreading, the Hacherl Research & Writing Studio is here for you.
What was it like to be part of the counterculture in Western Washington in the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s? You can explore that question and much more through the local underground newspaper, 'Northwest Passage.'
Part of a global movement promoting access to scholarship and creative works, CEDAR, (which stands for Contributing to Education through Digital Access to Research), is Western’s open access institutional repository.
Looking for extra sources for that paper you’re writing? Reviewing materials for an upcoming syllabus? Try ordering what you need through Summit!
