Our office is strategically located across the street from Miami’s City Hall to enable us to closely monitor client issues and effectively communicate client positions to legislators and key legislative staff. Our Chief Executive Officer, Rosario Kennedy, had a successful career in commercial real estate as Vice President of Terremark, Inc. In 1985, she was the first Hispanic woman elected to the Miami City Commission where she served as Commissioner and Vice Mayor until 1989, when she resigned her Commission seat to seek the Democratic nomination for the 18th Congressional District In 1991, Rosario incorporated Rosario Kennedy & Associates, Corp., a governmental consulting firm that provides strategy and implementation on legislative issues for local and national clients. Rosario’s legislative experience and “insider” knowledge of the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County governmental infrastructures have served her clients well. Under her tutelage, each member of our Government Relations team has gained in-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process through
hands-on experience. Our knowledge of the legislative process has been enhanced over the years by continually cultivating relationships with people within the governmental structure from the “top down” and the “bottom up”.
