Welcome

** The State Records Office will be closed on WA Day Monday 3 June. Archives ordered over the long weekend will be ready for viewing in the 3rd floor Reading Room at 11am on Wednesday 5 June. We will also be installing an update to our catalogue on 3 June with possible minor system outage.**

Search and request State Archives to view in person in the Reading Room or request digital copies, by logging in and registering online.

The Reading Room is located on the 3rd floor of the State Library / State Archives and archives can be accessed during normal opening hours.

If specialist advice is needed, please book an appointment with an Archivist to discuss your research.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are warned that SRO's online catalogue includes the names of deceased persons. The SRO also acknowledges that accessing some of this material can be confronting.
