Stinar Corporation since 1946 has provided industry leading aviation ground support equipment to the airline industry. Along with the new Primary and Title Sponsorship comes a new look for Winters Racing’s NHRA Pro Mod ’69 Chevelle.​Created by Burke Designs, the new wrap features Air Force One and a Stinar chassis mounted staircase. Stinar is known for providing the Secret Service with staircases and other ground equipment to support the President and Vice President of the United States as they travel around the nation and globe. “This new design is another work of art,” said Doug Winters. “There are so many things to look at. The detail is phenomenal. I am sure it will be a big hit with our fans.”Along with being the Primary and Title Sponsor for Winters Racing, Stinar will also be sponsoring the NHRA Pro Mod class, “Powered by Stinar Corporation,” when they head to Brainerd, MN for the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals August 14-16. Stinar plans on having a number of guest during the weekend and displaying some of their products on Manufacture Midway. Stinar Corporation is part of Kruckeberg Industries which is located in Minnesota. “It was a good fit with Stinar and the rest of Kruckeberg Industries all being located here. Also to have Pro Mods for the first time at Brainerd was a big plus. We are really looking forward to the event,” stated Craig Kruckeberg, owner of Kruckeberg Industries and Stinar Corporation.​Winters Racing will hit the track with their new partner this weekend during the Lucas Oil NHRA Summernational at Indianapolis July 17-19. This will be the first NHRA event for Winters Racing since Gainesville was postponed in March due to COVID-19. “We can’t wait to get back to NHRA racing,” stated Doug. We have been at a few races already this year, and done a lot of testing, but we are looking forward to getting the NHRA series started.” It will be a tall order for all the Pro Mods running for the NHRA championship this year. NHRA is scheduled to have Pro Mods at twelve events ranging over just three and a half months with the final race coming at Las Vegas Oct 29-Nov 1. “It will be a war of attrition. I think we have at least two stretches in the schedule where we will not return to the shop for over three weeks. Therefore, we have to be ready for whatever happens on the track and have the parts in the trailer just to make it to the next race. It will be a challenge, but with the help of Craig and Stinar, I know we can do it and accomplish big things.”​Winters Racing would also like to thank their other long time sponsors for this year.
