First of all, I chose The Eye Institute of Utah because a VA nurse had told me that they "do so much more" when performing cataract surgery. I was very pleased with the entire operation. Every staff member was extremely professional, very friendly, and very informative about what their job was during the procedures. Dr. Chapman was marvelous the way she went about her work. I apologize for not remembering each of her staff members' names. because they were all marvelous as well. It was quite the experience to have cataracts taken out and the whole crew made it easy to endure. I've been going to the Eye Institute for several years. I've always received excellent care. All of the staff are pleasant and patient. They explain everything. I recently had cataract surgery. I was nervous. They gave me Valium. The surgery was short with only minor discomfort. Dr. Z. was great. I received good post-operative instructions. I'm very happy with the results. It was like getting my first glasses many years ago. Highly recommend. [The] staff is welcoming and professional. [The] physicians and medical staff are extremely competent. I felt very well cared for during my cataract removal and was kept well informed during the procedure. [I] went in to get the build-up on my lens laser removed from a cataract I had taken out in ‘13. They did a great job and it was done within about an hour. Great patient care. Staff was very kind. [They] took the time to explain every detail of the process. [It was a] very pleasant experience, considering I was scared to death of the cataract surgery and getting new panoptic lenses. [I] would certainly recommend Dr. Z and The Eye Institute of Utah staff. This place is fabulous! I like a dummy missed my consultation for lasix that was two days prior thinking it was on a different day, even though they had sent me a reminder text before! So when I showed up, and learned I had missed my appointment they were so sweet and accommodating! They even managed to squeeze me in THAT hour! All the staff was very nice and informative. I do believe all my regular eye care needs will be scheduled there from now on! The team there is absolutely amazing! I had ICL surgery within the last month and felt like everyone involved truly cares. I highly recommend this facility!
