Team YP eSports organization, is expanding their lineup. The team has secured a Super Smash Bros player with a Captain Falcon main that is sure to make the town talk.   

Los Angeles (May 2017) – After a year of searching for a new team to add to the line-up, Team YP has finally found their match. It’s with great pleasure that the organization introduces Super Smash Bros. 4 into their lineup.

Smash Bros is not new territory for Team YP. For fans who have followed us for years now, they’ll remember that the organization already had a Smash Bros player. “Our loyal followers would know that one of the players we signed to Team YP a little over a year ago was Bizzarro Flame” said Brad Burns, VP of YouPorn “feels good to be returning to familiar territory, and we think our fans will appreciate the newest addition as well”

With that Team YP would like to welcome fan favorite Fatality to the family. A Captain Falcon main who recently won 2^nd place at one of the most stacked Smash 4 tournaments in the world; 2GGC: Civil War he’s sure to make some noise with the team. “What’s great about Fatality is that he brings a new kind of energy to the organization” continued Burns “He reminds us a lot of Bizzarro in that way. He’s someone who can hype up his character and the organization in a positive way, all while winning tournaments.”

We’ll be seeing a lot more of Fatality in the coming months; he’ll be participating in Gwinnett Brawl over the weekend, Momocon in Atlanta beginning May 25 until May 28 and CEO mid-June, in Orlando. Want to follow his progress? Follow Team YP and Fatality on social media.

After months of practice with a fully French roster, Team YP is shaking things up by switching some of their most talked about players for top EU talent.

NEW YORK, NY (Apr 5th, 2017) Over the last few weeks some of our fans may have noticed a few switches going on within Team YP. The Overwatch Paris team has been practicing with some of the top players in Europe and has recently signed three of them to their roster.

“While we are sad to see some players go, we are confident in the abilities of the new team and are excited to start working together” said Brad Burns, VP YouPorn. Beginning early April Team YP Overwatch Europe will be the new Overwatch Paris. So which players will we see more of on our twitch stream this spring? First up, Clément Dubois, nickname: Quoizamama. Although Quoizamama is a fairly new to the Overwatch scene, he comes to Team YP with acquired skills and experience from his past life playing LoL and CS:GO. Next we have Christopher Ulmer better known by his gamer name EAX. He’s competed in multiple games including Evolve and Counter Strike, where at a young age he began playing with a top team. Another player who is familiar with playing with top teams is LoA. Coming from a Battlefield background LoA was a main helicopter pilot, jet pilot and infantry for one of the top teams in the game.

“We are so excited to welcome Quoizamama, EAX and LoA to Team YP” said Burns “this new roster will allow the team to expand internationally and compete at a higher level than ever before.”
Also helping us welcome these new players to the team are of course, Nightwane long time captain of Team YP; Valmaster, pro gamer playing for Team YP Streetfighter IV and Overwatch; and finally Osnazeni, the newest Team YP Overwatch member who will be jumping ships from Team YP Overwatch France to join Team YP Overwatch EU.

After a couple quiet months, Team YP has new players in place and is ready for competition. We are excited to finally announce the new line-up.  

NEW YORK, N.Y (Feb. 15, 2017) Hard to believe all the changes that can happen over the course of a few months. The Overwatch league went through a big re-structure, and Valmaster is now on Team YP Overwatch. Yep, you read that right…OVERWATCH. VALMASTER.

You may have heard rumors, but we are excited to finally ( officially) announce that not only will Valmaster continue his career with Team YP Street Fighter IV, he has also decided to pursue a career in Overwatch with Team YP. He will be playing alongside Nightwane- Team YP veteran, who will continue to lead the crew as captain of the team. We are also thrilled to announce that Team YP signed several other new players to the Overwatch Team.
Joining Nightwane and Valmaster on Team YP Overwatch is Hajaxa, who made it to the top 20 leader board playing Evolve since the Big Alpha. His Evolve teammate, Ninaa, will also be joining Team YP. Like Hajaxa, Ninaa also reached the top 20 leaderboard. Playing Overwatch since its beta version and already a top player in the French leader board, Team YP is happy to have Jose Carlos Abreu- AKA Yoshi, on-board. Last but certainly not least, joining our Overwatch line up is previous Titanfall EU player and veteran, Osnazeni who has recently started playing in Overwatch tournaments but is already showing incredible potential.

“Although it took a little longer than anticipated, we are thrilled to finally be able to announce the new team” said Brad Burns, VP of YouPorn. The team has will be participating in their first tournament- Montpellier ESports Show, together on Feb 25 26. “We’ve seen how strong they are in their day-to-day and that makes it easy for us to have all the confidence in the world in them” Burns continued, “but we absolutely cannot wait to see what they do in this tournament.”
