Continue reading Sphinx Virtual Handicap - August (Final Race) on August 25, 2020 Well done to all who took part in the final virtual handicap race, and for taking part throughout the whole series. The August race saw 36 runners cross the finishing line.Our winner for August is Natalie Zouch, beating her predicted time by over two and a half minutes. In second place, was Steve Zouch! Steve also knocked two and a half minutes off his predicted time. Claiming the final spot of the podium was Al Harris, who beat his time from last month by over four minutes. A number of injuries left the field a little fewer than in prior months, but a good turnout nonetheless with 42 runners crossing the finish line.Our July winner was Michael Gough, beating his predicted time by a comfortable two minutes and twelve seconds. Following Michael and in second place was Jo Channer, knocking over FIVE minutes off her June result.
