Find out ways to give to SPACE [ ] The Monkey Magic: Chinese Story Theater performance has left our family with wonderful residual thoughts and feelings and our son seems to have rediscovered himself with new perspective. Having witnessed a class, dress rehearsal, then the show, it is amazing to see the awakening of the children...that is fine work with soulful reward in my book. Diane Green , Parent When kids sing through an idea, they get to places and develop a skill set beyond what’s taught in the industry. SPACE’s techniques create critical thinkers. They push issues but leave room for people to think for themselves. Amanda Rosenberg, Street Dance Teacher All three of our daughters have participated in the SPACE theater program, and we couldn't be more impressed with the entire staff and experience. In addition to producing quality performances that showcase the children's talents, skills and hard work, the staff at SPACE have proven they are even more committed to creating a safe space for kids to learn and grow and discover their strengths and talents. Rather than push kids to uphold a particular performance standard, they nurture the students to help them uncover their love for and talent for theater, dance and music organically and safely. What a wonderful community of people for our children to spend time with and bond with. They've made lifelong friends, discovered truly wise mentors, and discovered their own voices. Thank you to everyone in the SPACE program for giving your all to each and every child entrusted to your care and teaching. As a parent I have learned so much, just by observing how the teachers treat and respect the children. The effects on the children who participate in classes, the teachers who offer their services, and the community members who are touched by parenting and other programs SPACE has to offer are far greater than simply singing, dancing and acting for fun.
