He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Doheny Eye Institute, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. We have the latest in-office diagnostic tests and treatments including: high definition OCT, digital fundus photography, digital indocyanine green/fluorescein angiography, digital ultrasound of the eye adnexa, laser treatments, intravitreal injections of medications, photodynamic therapy, etc. more services CLINICAL TRIALS Dr. Murthy is principal investigator for an Age Related Macular Degeneration trial. Couple of years ago, days prior to relocating to the East coast, I sustained a serious eye injury and was EXTREMELY fortunate that Dr. Murthy was the Retinal Surgeon on call at the hospital. Dr. Murthy opened his office early on Sunday morning to see me and spent the entire morning/afternoon repairing my eye injury. The possibility of losing my vision was a very scary situation and Dr. Murthy not only saved my eye but was a compassionate person who truly cared about my well being.
