From cutting-edge biomedical research to food safety, scientific advances offer great promise in treating and preventing disease. Innovation—and the right investments—can help expand access to substance use disorder treatment, spur the development of new antibiotics, improve electronic health records, make dental care more accessible, and provide better oversight of drugs and other health care products.
