Thank you to all the staff at Manchester Golf Club for the exemplary service offered in the planning and delivery of the reception to celebrate my Father’s life.

The service offered by the catering staff on the day was first class. All the staff I spoke to demonstrated that they were prepared to go the extra mile to meet our needs.

The feedback from all friends and family who attended the function was very positive and complimentary.

I would not hesitate to recommend the venue to anyone thinking of holding an event. I have spoken to the Funeral Director in glowing terms about the service offered by the club and suggested she bear it in mind when families ask for advice on venues.

We all had another great day yesterday and it’s always a firm favourite for our team and business colleagues. The course was in great condition considering the rain that had fallen. Once again the food was excellent and the service provided was superb.

We will be back again next year – if not before.

All the staff at your club were most welcoming and friendly. The course was a credit to your greenkeeping team, it was very well presented and the greens were in excellent condition. On completing our round, we sat down to a very nice meal in your clubhouse.

Firstly can I thank you for the hospitality shown yesterday at your Senior Scratch event, first-class all round. The course was also in fantastic condition, really enjoyed it.

I’m writing to you on behalf of myself and my wife, to show our absolute gratitude for the way you assisted us to plan, organise and deliver our wedding reception on Saturday the 15th July. It was perfect, it surpassed and exceeded our high expectations in every single way possible.

Both the lamb the sea bass were incredible and the feedback was unanimous, everyone was amazed by it, the starters and desserts were equally decadent, I’ve never known such a happy crowd.

Finally, I would like to commend the staff at the golf club for the little touches on the night…. All the staff were friendly and constantly smiling.

I will happily recommend you and your club to anyone in future, not only as a party/reception venue but as a food venue too.

The superb venue of Manchester Hopwood (previously used for European Tour School Stage 1 Qualifying) was in tip-top condition.

There were plenty of compliments throughout the day for their Head Greenkeeper Matt on the excellent condition of the course. Everyone agreed that the greens were fantastic.

‘That is my favourite Maxitours venue’. Remarked vastly experienced Rob Weston. ‘This has to be the best course in Manchester.’
