In addition, IAAO will work to engage and welcome those candidates into the ranks of IAAO, foster their development into IAAO designated assessment professionals, provide expanded volunteer positions for previously underrepresented populations in the IAAO, and finally, provide new pathways to leadership positions in IAAO, both in our volunteer and professional staff ranks. For more details, please view the following video message.IAAO Annual Conference to go virtual!Following a review of comments, concerns, and logistics on holding the IAAO annual conference in Denver in late August, IAAO will be transforming the 86th Annual International Conference on Assessment Administration into an exciting virtual conference featuring educational sessions, an exhibit hall, and special events.The 2020 virtual conference will take place Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 - please see the message from President Amy Rasmussen, RES, AAS, FIAAO for more details and also see the conference FAQs and letter for more details.July 6 is deadline to submit materials to run for BoardMembers interested in running for the IAAO Board of Directors should submit candidate materials by July 6. Regular members in good standing will be able to vote electronically from Nov. 1-15, 2020, for the 2021 Regular Board Member and Officer positions. There will not be candidates for Associate Members in 2020.Register now for live online courses offered in June and JulyIAAO will offer several courses in June and July in the Live Online format. In June Live Online versions of Course 101: Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal (30.0 CEUs) and Course 400: Assessment Administration (30.0 CEUs) will be offered and in July Live Online versions of Course 500: Assessment of Personal Property (30.0 CEUs) and Course 402: Tax Policy (30.0 CEUs) will be offered.
