UPDATE as of 3/26/20 - BAKERY IS OPEN Jordyn here, owner of Goblin City Bakery. I know we are all faced witha difficult situation intrying to keep our families safe from COVID-19. Because all food producersare considered essential businesses, my small home bakery is included in that category. So, for nowI am staying open and taking a lot of extra precautions within my home and bakery. First, I should mention my bakery is in aseparate, closable part of my house away from my householdkitchen. I also have a separate refrigerator and freezer dedicated to my bakery alone. Those 2 factors alone help me keep my cakes safe and avoid any cross-contamination. I also abide by all SafeServ guidelines and sanitization procedures for both by bakery and my main kitchen. I'm also taking a few extra precautions including double hairnets, gloves at all times, and a face mask whenever I am working in the bakery.I am still offering delivery services but you are also welcome to pick up your orders and we will make provisions to keep our distance.I will always make sure I'm doing everything in my power to keep my family and my customers safe.
