Field trips and meetings:   We will be offering a full slate of field trips for the fall.  However, we have decided, due to the current state of the pandemic, to continue to hold monthly member meetings over Zoom until the pandemic subsides again.

Do you have a favorite birding spot in Delaware, Pennsylvania, or Maryland?  The DOS Youth Birding Committee wants to know!  We are looking to organize information about the best places for families to go birding in the region, but we can't do it without your help.  Fill out the survey by clicking the button and  tell us all about where you like to go birding and the features that make it great!

We run field trips throughout  the year to Delaware's birding hotspots.

We hold monthly meetings with wide ranging topics.  

We work to conserve critical bird habitats in partneship with other organizations and the state.  

Our youth birding group and co-sponsorship of the Frontiers in Ornithology Symposium provide activities for school age birders.  

From Hawk Watches to Christmas Bird Counts, we run a number of projects studying Delaware's birds.

Our signature fundraising event has raised money to purchase 2000 acres of critical bird habitat.
