Welcome to St. Peter and St. Paul s Church, in the parish of Aylesford and Eccles in Kent. As a church we are a mix of friendly people from different backgrounds but united in wanting to grow in the Christian faith. We question our faith, learn from each other and enjoy being together.As a Church of England parish church we are here for everyone in the parish - but unfortunately unable to gather freely in the building, right now. As the government announced on 31st October, the church is closed for worship once again. This rather changes our plans for The Weekend of Remembering, organised for 7th and 8th November. However, the building will remain open for private prayer. from 10am to 3pm every day, 2nd - 15th November, and we will salvage what we can of the plans - poppies will be in church for planting in the Poppy Field, and the Memory Tree and This Year exhibition will also be on view. More information. For the duration of this second lockdown, we are only able to conduct funerals attended by a maximum of 30 people, and it is advised that only close friends and family attend. Sunday Services, Christenings and Weddings are not permitted. The anxiety and sadness caused by Covid-19 will be with us for a long time. Since March a team of pastoral carers has been in touch with over 100 isolating, lonely and vulnerable people. That service will not stop now. If you are lonely, worried or need some practical (non-contact) help and would like to talk with someone then please call Janet 01622 710083 (Authorised Pastoral Assistant) or Ruth 01622 717434 (the Vicar).
