This site contains the archives of "Wool Technology and Sheep Breeding" (WTSB) journal and the "International Journal of Sheep and Wool Science" (IJSWS). These journals published original articles about on-farm production, handling, transport, early-stage processing and marketing of wool, and all aspects of sheep breeding and husbandry. The emphasis was expanded in 1997 to include sheep and wool production in both Australia and New Zealand. Articles were also published on non-sheep fibre-producing breeds or sheep and wool work from other countries.The WTSB journal was published from UNSW and WRONZ from 1954 through to 2004. The IJSWS journal was published from UNE from 2005 through to 2009.This archive of both journals was established by Professor David Cottle, now retired. Professor Cottle was the final editor. In September 2019 he transferred the management of the archive to the Australian Wool Education Trust (AWET).
