As of Monday, July 27th all Lancaster Ice Rink programs will take place as scheduled with the exception of daytime public skate and open hockey.Daytime public skate and open hockey are CANCELLED until Mid-September. This is being done to allow arena staff to do hot weather ice maintenance on a daily basis. In order to provide as safe an environemnt as possible, the Board of Directors and general manager have developed COVID-19 protocols pursuant to applicableCDC and Pennsylvania guidelines. This development process also included advice from Rink Management Services Corporation (industry expert), a director of health and safety for a national corporation and an epidemiology expert.Below, you will find two documents: LIR Re-Opening Guidelines and Self-Screening Protocol. Please read and famiarize yourself with the contents of these two documents before coming to the rink. When you arrive at the rink, please follow all protocols.
