Only kidding! But how do you pick a title when youve been gone so long?! Hi! Remember me? Im Katie, the one who runs this blog. Youd be forgiven for forgetting that though, since I havent shown my face around here in a painfully long time! How are you all? Ive missed chatting to you (although I have lovely chats with a lot of you over on Instagram)!

There are so many reasons I havent blogged in over a year. The main explanation I can give is that I needed to focus on my health (or lack of, more like!) Unless youre new around here, youll know that I have chronic illness. ME and fibromyalgia are the main issues that I deal with day to day. I was struggling to keep up with posting regularly, whilst trying to work on goals we set at the ME Clinic. Things like trying to wash my hair more often (surprisingly exhausting), attempting some small walks etc. They were tiny goals, but huge in terms of my very low energy levels. You can only juggle so many plates at once without smashing one. I guess I smashed the blog plate!

I never made a conscious decision not to blog. It just kept falling to the end of my list, with health appointments, ME Clinic goals and basic self-care coming first. Then, once weeks turned into months, I knew I couldnt just pop up and post about anything random like the latest beauty releases. Id need to explain where on earth Id been. So that added onto my reasons to procrastinate! Would anyone be annoyed? Would they understand? (probably, youre a great bunch!) Or more accurately, would anyone even care? Maybe nobody had even noticed Id gone!

Ive still bothered the cat just as much whilst Ive been gone (dark eye circles models own)
