Gresford Colliery Bowling Club is now open to members only but STRICT CRITERIA MUST be adhered to. This is not criteria drawn up by the club but is as a result of Welsh Assembly guidelines adopted by the Welsh Crown Green Bowling Association. The green is to be used by Members only ( this means Members who were members last season or genuine potential new members). All members wishing to play this season will need to pay a nominal playing fee Admittance to the green will be by unlocking the padlocked gate Please ensure the gate is locked when you leave No more than 2 blocks are allowed on the green at any one time and can consist of an individual, 2 individuals from differing households or up to 4 members from the same household. Each player MUST use their own jack , mat and bowls and are not permitted to use any of the clubs equipment. When practicing and when delivering the jack at the commencement of an end the player must use their own mat and deliver his/her own personal jack on all occasions. Equipment should be sterilized before and after use. The pavilion and its facilities, including toilets, MUST NOT BE USED There should not be more than 6 people within the grounds of the bowling green at any one time. Anybody wishing to use the green should in the first instance contact Tom Roberts 07766 163924 who will be able to advise if there is a slot available. Players cannot play without firstly agreeing a slot with Tom. The members of the Gresford Bowling and Social Club would like to thank Gwersyllt Community Council for the Grants that have been awarded in 2019,for the maintenance of the Bowling Green. Without their help the playing surface would not be one of the best in Wales.
