EXECUTIVE OFFICERCPO JACOB NOWALSKY, NSCCCOMMAND CHIEF PETTY OFFICERWelcome to the Atlantic City Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. We service the Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberlandand southern Ocean Counties. The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a non-profit youth program for Americans ages 11 through 17.Atlantic City Division was commissioned in 1995. Our mission is to educate, motivate and empower the future leaders of America. We are finally able to drill again at the Coast Guard Station. We still must continue all the COVID-19protocols but it will be good to be back again.In addition to the protocols we have been following, we must comply with the State of New Jersey in limitingindoor gatherings to no more than ten persons. So we have assigned each member to a Company, and you mustattend on your assigned day. You will find the list on both the Plan of the Month and on the "News" page.The regulations concerning medical exams has changed to every 15 months instead of every 12 month. However,if you have had or are planning to have any kind of physical exam, be sure to download the form found onthe "News" page and take it with you. The change was made to save cost to cadets and families wheremedical providcers will only provide one physical per 12-month period. The medical history form, which is signed and completed by a parent, still must be updated yearly. We are not permitted to conduct PRT at drill. However, nearly every cadet has an expired PRT which willmake it impossible to sign up for training or be promoted. Now is the time to get it done with your parentsverifying your PRT. This is to be done the same way it was done in the spring. This is especially importantfor cadets who need to finish RT Phase II. You cannot even sign up without a passing PRT. Be sure to completethis and bring it to drill. If you have not yet registered for Quarterdeck, be sure to do so. You must have your own email address inMagellan.this is how you complete all the required coursework for promotions.
