Approaching Stanford Approaching Stanford is the process that guides all new undergraduates in the transition to life on The Farm. Throughout the summer, you'll be introduced to the Stanford community while completing new student requirements. The process culminates with New Student Orientation when you move to campus in September. Frosh: Get Started! Move-In New Student Orientation Incoming frosh and transfers will move to campus September 11-13 and New Student Orientation will take place September 14-19, 2021. All new students are required to live on campus and participate in New Student Orientation. We will share more details about the process to schedule your move-in appointment and recommend that you do not book travel until you have confirmed your move-in appointment. Stay Tuned!Please note that as an admitted or incoming student, you are not yet an enrolled student at Stanford and therefore you should not attend university-sponsored events or meetings (virtual or in-person) or join student organizations intended only for current students, before the beginning of the 2021-22 academic year. You will be able to engage with student groups and campus offices and programs through Cardinal Quad and Cardinal Days, both managed by the Office of Undergraduate Admission, and through Approaching Stanford.
