Recent Changes

Dear membership, It is our goal to keep the fees for our services as competitive as possible while still charging enough to make these services available. However, because of increases in the marketplace for banking services, it is sometimes necessary to adjust our rates to compensate. Effective December 1, 2021 the WIRE transfer fee and the Western Union fee will be going up to $20. We will also be launching a new way to transfer funds between your bank accounts ACH Origination. There will be a $7.00 fee for this service and if we process your request before 1pm the funds will be transferred in the same day. Please contact credit_union@uhaul.com if you have any questions or concerns.

SmartDollar Financial Wellness Benefit

U-Haul Credit Union has teamed up with U-Haul International to help team members who have enrolled in the SmartDollar financial wellness benefit. The credit union will waive the $5.00 membership fee when you join the credit union once you have created your SmartDollar account. All active U-Haul Team members are eligible to participate. New Auto Loan Terms Up to 84 Months

U-Haul Credit Union  now offering terms for new and used auto loans up to 84 months for loan amounts above $35,000.  Purchase or Refinance your auto loan for 84 months and save on your monthly payments.  Rates as low as 4.75% APR (new) and 5.49% APR (used).  Get Pre-Approved before you go to the dealership and SKIP the hassle of bargaining. GAP, Warranty, and Credit Life Disability Insurance available. Call the credit union for additional information.

SKIP A PAYMENT INFORMATION

The Skip A Payment program has made some minor changes.  You can now apply for the skip a payment anytime during the calendar year one time a year. Loans funded for 1 year or longer are eligible.  Excludes Quick Loans.. Fees $25.00 per loan, per skip. Please call the credit union for further details.

ELAN Mastercard

The credit union offers a MasterCard card thru ELAN Financial Services (the vendor for U-Haul Credit Union) .  Please note there is information on our website regarding the MasterCard program under the tab How We Serve You.  Please call Cardmember Service at 1-800-249-0646 if you have any questions.  Thank you.

Inactive Accounts Notice

U-Haul Credit Union will be notifying members whose accounts have become inactive for 1 year or longer.  If you receive this notice in your member statements, please respond to the credit union. You can activate your account by making a deposit or withdrawing funds.  The notice gives you options.  If after 3 years your account remains dormant, we are required to send your account balance to the State of Arizona (Escheat Law). If you have any questions, contact the Credit Union at 602-263-6655.

ADDRESS CHANGES UPDATES TO ACCOUNTS

Please keep your account up to date with your latest address and contact information directly with the credit union.  You will need to complete an address change form and submit this to the credit union along with proof of new address (utility billing, cell phone bill, credit card statement, etc.)  This is one way to protect your account and information to be safe.. The address change form is located on our website home page under e-services tab.

E-STATEMENTS

E-Statements!!!!  Please enroll for Online Banking then OPT IN for E-STATEMENTS under the Customer Member Center tab. If you have more than one (1) account number such as Regular Savings and an SSA account, you must enroll all accounts individually.  Verify your Personal Email address is correct or add one by selecting the Personal Information link so the Credit Union can notify you that statements are available online. GO GREEN! You can still receive a Paper Statement in the mail, but there will be a $1.00 charge per month after Jan 1, 2017.

There is no need to re-enroll for Online Banking if you already have online access but must OPT IN to receive E-STATEMENTS

A D D INSURANCE PREMIUMS

A D D Insurance Premiums are deducted from your savings accounts on the first day of the month every 3 months March / June / September / and December. Please be sure to have funds available in your account at that time for the Premium. Thank you.

SAVINGS ACCOUNTS TRANSACTION RESTRICTIONS

Another FYI Did you know members are only allowed a total of (6) electronic (ACH) transactions per month from their savings accounts. If you find that your account requires more than (6), please open a checking account as it has unlimited transactions.
