As you may be aware, the president of Shar Pei Rescue Inc., Amanda Booth, sadly passed away late last year. Over the last 9 months, we have focused on rehoming the remaining dogs in care and working on what the way forward was for SPR. Regretfully, now that all dogs in care have been rehomed, the difficult decision has been made to close Shar Pei Rescue Inc.We have had some generous people who have continued to make donations - if you have made donations in the last 3 months, please contact us through email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Any remaining funds once all is reconciled, will be donated to Stafford Rescue Victoria; this was Amanda's wish.If you have a reoccurring donation set up through your workplace or bank, we'd ask that you please make arrangements for this to stop (and hopefully another rescue can benefit from your generosity).Adopted dogs will continue to be supported where we can.
