Woody, Buzz and the rest of their friends are ready for the spectacular adventure they are about to embark on. This adventure introduces them to their new friend, Forky!! Which, to me, brought in an amazing twist and may be one of my favourites now! This adventure takes place with Bonnie and a venturesome road trip. The first part of the movie is dedicated to a character development with the relationship between Forky and Woody, with a long walk while talking we dive deeper into these characters as they begin to embark on the adventure. The next half of the movie brings in the beloved characters like Buzz Lightyear and Cowgirl Jesse, and the many more new toys that we meet during the family’s week-long Winnebago road trip. When the story unfolds there are many aspects that are needed to make Toy Story 4 an amazing film. These elements they have included add in the adventure as the toys must rescue a missing toy, the reuniting of separate characters in a climactic action sequence, and the best element, when a toy breaks the biggest rule and allows a human to view it alive.  Toy Story 4 is more emotionally in depth from the other movies in my opinion, this is due to when Woody has an emotional meetup with his long lost friend Bo Peep because of a detour. Woody soon begins to realize the difference between him and Bo surrounding how they desire to live as toys. This heartbreaking scene between Woody and Bo, is a problem Woody is unable to fix. But he keeps the magic alive through the whole story line with his friends by his side, keeping the secrets of the toys secret lives. This movie is perfect for families as it brings in the beloved old ones for one last adventure with our all time favourite, Woody. You will always have a friend in this movie! Toy Story 4 is a heartwarming movie for all ages and a fantastic watch that will leave you with a happy and warm memories for years to come. It makes you wonder what your toys are doing when you are not around. What makes this Toy Story the best storyline is the underlying emotional parts that fill the story. It brings in a very relatable side that most of us understand. Toy Story 4 grossed $411 million domestic cume which compared to $415 million of Toy stories 3. I do believe Toy Story 4 is a little underrated as I believe this is the strongest, most emotional and heartfelt story line and a must watch for every family, and person. Toy Story 4 is rated U and is suitable for audiences aged four years and over. This is a must watch for everyone who is 4 and up and it is a story that will stick with us forever.See you at the movies!! Official Trailer released! Boy, Looking at this trailer and 2019 is going to be the year of Pixar in the Box Office! Toy Story 4 looks like a Home Run from what is already Pixar s top film series!Coming to theatres on June 21, 2019. The biggest news so far seems to be the new character Forky or is it Sporky? This little character is going to be a hit and already generating quite the buzz! Forky is joining all of the usual great characters. Definitely looking at a Home Run this summer! Enjoy. What can I say, I love Cars, literally. The original Cars movie caught my attention immediately and the animation remains superb! Now we have Cars 3! Released to the box office in June 2017 and grossing almost 400 million worldwide! Cars 2 brought in more revenue at 560 million but in my opinion Cars 3 brought a bit more of an emotional story about perseverance and selflessness. The animation is more improved as well as Cars 2 was released in 2011. All in the Cars movies brought in about 1.2B for Pixar! The Director was Brian Fee as his debut film, written by Kiel Murray, bob Peterson and Mike Rich.Cars 3 has the return of Lightning McQueen who wants to prove to the latest and most technically advanced racers that he remains the best in the world! Jackson Storm is an advanced rookie racer whose intimidating success sets a new racing level and standard that attracts new rookies and deters veterans. McQueen, in the final race of the season tries to overtake Storm but suffers a violent crash after losing control which takes him months to recover.McQueen decides to return to racing but discovers his sponsor Rust-Eze has sold the team to a new owner, Sterling. McQueen is assigned to Cruz Ramirez, a trainer who has a very different approach to racing so the relationship is very frustrated initially. Through these challenges the lilihood of McQueen racing dims but eventually a deal is reached that if he wins his first race then his career will be secured. The dynamics of this relationship with Sterling and Cruz is an important part of the film.Cruz and McQueen begin training together at Fireball Beach in sandy terrain. Cruz shows off her skills by beating McQueen in a demolition derby, embarrassing McQueen. Cruz reveals her love of racing but has felt too intimidated to pursue her dreams. McQueen continues training with the support of an old friend Smokey. This group, including Cruz continue training with a focus on beating Storm but McQueen has a flashback to his crash which shakes his confidence.Finally, the big race in Florida with Storm. McQueen starts in last but pushes through to close ranks with Storm. During an overheard exchange between Sterling the team owner and Cruz, McQueen offers Cruz the opportunity to finish the race. Cruz pushes through the race but eventually works her way up to Storm who makes it very difficult even to the point of trying to ram her into the wall. Cruz eventually works her way past Storm to win the race!After the race, Sterling offers Cruz a position on the team but Cruz decides to move onto another team owned by the legendary Tex, but reminds Sterling of the commitment to McQueen. Since McQueen started the race he is considered the winner and kept on the team. Eventually, Cruz and McQueen find themselves together again as Tex has also bought Sterling’s Team J.You will enjoy Cars 3 for the animation, the story line and especially if you like Cars! If you haven’t seen Cars 3 then get streaming and enjoy this wonderful film. The beauty of Pixar films is that they are all timeless. Pixar has redefined movies and animation while generating an incredible following. Pixarites are committed, they love all of the movies and simply can t wait for the next release which BTW I believe is Toy Story 4! in June which will most likely be another biggie We looked at best Pixar Movie ever from 2 perspectives; Rotten Tomatoes and Worldwide Box Office Revenue. So Rotten Tomatoes is ranked based on user feedback and evaluates the ratio of positive verses negative feedback. Anything over 60 is good or fresh tomato and anything that is less than 59 is a rotten tomato. Pixar movies have always done very well on Rotten Tomatoes When you look at Box Office Revenue it can be a bit confusing as there are various totals and they are always adjusting but basically you have Opening Weekend, North American Revenues and WorldWide Revenues. I decided that the best approach for my somewhat subjective/objective decision on the Top Pixar Movie Ever would be a combination of WorldWide Revenues and Top Rotten Tomatoes ranking. The top movie by revenue of all time is Incredibles 2 with 1.2B, followed by Toy Story 3 at 1.1B and then Finding Dory at about 1.0B. When we look at the Rotten Tomatoes rankings the top movie is Toy Story and Toy Story 2 with a rating of 100%!! These are followed by Toy Story 3 with a 98% rating. As you can see the Toy Story movies have done incredibly well! Based on this criteria, we selected the Top Pixar Movie Ever as ..TOY STORY 3!!   which is a well deserved WINNER!As a special mention, outside the Toy Story movies Finding Dory and Incredibles 2 were very close! Congrats TOY STORY 3 and we are all looking forward to the Toy Story 4 sequel in June To Our Readers. We haven t posted for a while due to various distractions but are going to catch up!We are behind by a few great movies and want to start with Finding Dory Which was directed by Andrew Stanton and co-directed by Angus Mclane. Dory the bright eyed blue tang fish, she just wants to go into the open sea across to California where she was born. Similar to Finding Nemo, Dory is a lost fish with short term memory loss who was separated from her parents as a child. Dory has flashbacks which props her to attempt to find her way home. Other characters who help Dory are a septopus or grumpy octopus, talking whales and other fun sea creatures. Nemo and Merlin (his dad) are also in the movie. The animation throughout the seaworld is amazing, maybe one of the best for Pixar although they are all quite sensational! This is a fun loving movie that parents and children will all thoroughly enjoy. I thought Ellen Degeneres as Dory did a great job and was very enthusiastic. Finding Dory racked up over a billion at the box office! If you haven t see it get renting. Unfortunately Finding Dory is no longer on Netflix since August 2018 but you might still get on Amazon Prime. Enjoy! I have been enjoying a family vacation this week at DisneyWorld and being a Pixar fan was amazed at the impact of Pixar on DisneyWorld. Pixar is everywhere! The magic of Disney is even more Magical with the perfect integration of Pixar animation throughout the Park.Pixar Studios is the newest section at DisneyWorld and it features Toy Story and a very popular ride called Toy Story Midway Mania. It is a dark and interactive shooting ride. It is the type of ride you will want to do over and over again. The Pixar Animation Studio is replicated here and there are lots of character meet and greets. Seemed to be a very popular area of Hollywood Studios.In Animal Kingdom we found Nemo The Musical which was really great. The theater filled up fast and everyone seemed really excited to see the show. Also in Animal Kingdom was Its Tough to be a Bug. Very popular and continual traffic flow. Very interactive with mist, water, things moving in the seats (bugs) and so forth.In Magic Kingdom the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor was really well done. They ask the audience to text jokes while waiting in line and use the jokes interactively with the audience. It is done really well and pretty amazing how the improvise the show to each new group. Be careful if you get embarrassed easily as there are cameras at each seat and you can suddenly appear on the big screen! Do not miss this one!I never got to Epcot but there is an attraction The Seas With Nemo and Friends. Also, throughout the park you always see Pixar characters and references. It was also great to see that the stunt car show Lights Motors Action in Hollywood Studios had a feature with a replica of Lightning McQueen.The whole show was amazing and I was really surprised to see Lightning introduced into the show. If you are a Pixar fan and are visiting DisneyWorld, keep your eyes open. From featured attractions, to character meet and greets, signs and souvenirs, it is very impressive to see the importance and the impact of Pixar and DisneyWorld. As Pixar continues to roll out some great films, I think Disney will be pretty busy finding ways to integrate them into their Parks I was asked by one of our readers to add a post to mention their work on a Lego Competition. The Good DinosaurI guess the best way to describe the film is that it definitely portrays the best animated landscapes ever! The film seems more children oriented than others but there is definitely a large adult following of all things Pixar. I was first captured by Cars and fell in love ever since with the style and animation design of everything Pixar produces. The Good Dinosaur further improves on the pristine and captivating animation.A single moment changes history. Imagine the asteroid 65 million years ago not hitting Earth and the Dinosaur world carried forward. The Good Dinosaur with its main characters Arlo and a Caveboy somewhat lost and on a journey full of adversity trying to find a way back to Arlo s home.The film is produced by Peter Sohn (Also a voice cast in the film) from a screenplay by Meg Lafauve. The cast is excellent as always with Pixar and Peters work on Inside Out speaks for itself on the creative ability he is able to bring forward from a vast amount of experience on previous Pixar films.Although the film raked in some serious dollars, It opened on Thanksgiving weekend and shared the Box Office with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2. Pixar had pretty high expectations as traditionally the films are very successful. Some estimates are that the film had a budget at about 200 million. Some estimates are that the film should bring in about 215 million worldwide. I am sure the math at Pixar is much more complicated than this but they had probably expected a much greater return. Personally, I think that the film will continue to bring long term returns and this is another excellent film to add into the content barn. I received this interesting request and thought what a great idea! I realize petition sounds a little aggressive but definitely a great suggestion. This writer started a petition recommending that Disney build a TV series around Inside Out.I could definitely see that as an interesting reality considering the complexity of emotions and how important they are to teens and pre-teens. Here is the email: I ve created a petition with the aim of convincing Disney into creating a TV Series based on Pixar s latest movie, Inside Out It s one of Pixar s most original movies for a while, and it seems like it d fit perfectly on TV.
