The present committee together with a few former committee members, some other Old Joes plus our special guest the SPC President Valentino Pereira gathered via ‘Zoom’ to celebrate the event.The evening opened with Vice President Chamil Fernando leading the gathering in prayer, next President Merry De La Zilwa formally welcomed the group with a few words and update on where things stand now. This was followed by the singing of the college song lead by Choirmaster Darrel De Silva and then all present raising their glasses for a cheers up.A chit chat followed the formal proceedings. Those present were involved in discussing various issues relevant to the present day and things happening at college now. All in all it was a great catch-up. Hopefully things will settle down in the days ahead and we may be able to gather in 2021 for the Annual Dinner Dance.
