Oak Point University Celebrates GRAND OPENING in Oak Brook 0 by Jenny Stanko Thursday, 14 OctoberWelcome new member Oak Point University!
Oak Point University (formerly Resurrection University) is a University that specializes in the Health Sciences only featuring two schools: The College of Nursing The College of Health Sciences.
Oak Point University is an “upper division” or “transfer” university best viewed as the final two years (junior and senior years) of a four year university. Thus, they only have upper-division classes specific to your program of interest. In other words, if you are interested in the Nursing program, you will only take Nursing classes at Oak Point. For admission into their undergraduate programs, you will need to take general education and other program pre-requisites, or what is equivalent to your freshman and sophomore years, at another regionally-accredited institution like a community or junior college and transfer in those classes and credits.
A couple of weeks ago the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois along with DuPage Convention Visitors Bureau and Murphy Development Inc celebrated Oak Point University with a ribbon cutting and grand opening.
