Should you like a particular book or a project we're working on then let us know and we might be able to do more by the author or similar projects. ES Videos Here you will find videos I have produced telling you something about our Electric Scotland site and other related subjects. Thistle Whistle This is the virtual pub so anything you might talk about in the pub can be talked about in here - which means pretty well anything that comes up. Fryin' Pan Hill Our friendly battle of the sexes that gets unfriendly at times Rib Ticklers Homour or Humor in all its forms. One never knows what type of thing they will read here. This forum is for those enjoying our Arcade to discuss the games and even suggest new games you'd like to see. This forum is for us to tell you what's new in the community. You can then comment on the new feature we announce. Ask the Seneschal Having a problem with some aspect of the community then this is where you can ask for help or report the issue or problem. Also use this forum to suggest any improvements you'd like to see and to suggest new forums. Members Helping Members This forum is for members to help members and so if you can't figure out how to use a feature then pop a message in here and hopefully your fellow members will be able to help out. This is where you will find out what new members have joined the community and have the opportunity to welcome them. Breaking World News This where can post breaking news around the world and have our say about it. Like the Gulf Oil spill or the ash cloud in Iceland or something nearer home. Some useful widgets for your use. You can't post messages in this forum but if you've found a widget you like and want us to include it here then do post a message in the "Ask the Seneschal" forum. Teaching Videos Having got some new software I am embarking on doing a wee series of instructional videos on how to use the Electric Scotland Community. General Messages This forum is for any discussions on Lifestyle matters that are not covered by the other forums in here. Armed Forces This forum is for discussions on and about the Army, Navy and Air Force, and also included would be the Territorials,, National Guard, and Rescue organisations. Beauty and Fashion This forum is to discuss anything to do with beauty and fashion. This is where we can profile authors and authors can also promote their books if they wish. Should you be a fan of an author then use this forum to tell us about them. This forum is for business discussions on anything to do with individual businesses or the subject in general. This is forum for discussing computer hardware, software, accessories and games hardware and software. This forum is to enable people to announce Scottish events around the world and also to message about them if you managed to attend. First Nations (North American Indians) This forum is for discussion on the First Nations Trives in North America. I'm hoping people might post information about them and also to discuss progress or lack thereof. Where you can discuss anything to do with Food and Drink, be it to tell us of a good restuarant, provide a recipe or discuss an ingredient. Gaelic Language This is a forum for discussing the Scottish Gaelic Language. In here you can ask for help or indeed offer information and advice. Green Issues This forum is for discussing green issues. On the Electricity front we might discuss wind farms, solar heating, tidal and wave power. Perhaps developments on electric cars, lighting and heating your home, waste disposal, energy efficient appliances and anything else to do with Green issues. Historic Places This forum is for us to bring you news on historic places in Scotland but also the world. Here we will provide news that we get in from Historic Scotland and other organizations and you are welcome to provide information on properties and perhaps stories about them when you visited in person. Home Renovations For discussions on doing home renovations such as doing roofs, dry wall, plumbing, electrical, etc. Discuss anything to do with the household here such as decorating tips, running a household, economies, repairs, etc. This forum is for discussions about the Internet and Web. Might be used to discuss creating your own web site, web design issues, email programs and generally anything to do with the Internet Knights Templar This is forum to discuss anything to do with the Knights Templar. For discussions on things you do in your leisure time such as camping, hunting, swimming, walking, etc. Mobile Devices and Apps This is where you can discuss anything to do with mobile phones and devices and the various apps and widgets for your iPhone, Blackberry, iPod, Nokia and others. New Products and Ideas This forum is for telling us of new products that you think would be worth while getting and also to post up ideas you have for new products. For discussions on any Parenting issue, how to raise your kids, nursery schools, schooling, health, etc. Poetry Stories Many of our members like to share their own poetry or stories and so this is a place where they can post them for others to enjoy. Scottish Government This is where we will post selected reports from the Scottish Government. It's also a place you can discuss topics to do with the Scottish Government. Scottish Independence This is a discussion forum for us to debate the pros and cons of the forthcoming Independence referendum schdules for 2014. Discussions about shopping, smarter ways to shop, getting the best deals, online shopping, etc. Smart Phones This is where we can discuss the newest smart phones and apps and share our thoughts on what's great and what apps are knock out or not. Travel and Tourism A forum dedicated to travel and tourism. We support the FamilyTreeDNA company in their work on doing DNA for Scottish Clans and Families so thought this forum would be worthwhile.
