Pattonville High School announced and recognized the school’s Top 10 seniors based on grade point averages during the graduation ceremony on July 16 at The Family Arena. The high school presented the Top 10 seniors with T-shirts from the universities they will attend after graduation. These students have grade point averages (GPAs) that fall between a 4.5 and a 4.8 on a 5-point weighted scale.  Congratulations to the 426 graduates of the Pattonville High School Class of 2020! The district held its 84th annual commencement at The Family Arena on July 16 where students were honored with individual recognition and awards. Two students, Zoe Wallace and Momo Kikuchi, were the two featured Senior Speakers. Senior Awards Night is an annual tradition for Pattonville High School where students are celebrated for achieving awards and earning scholarships. Due to the pandemic, this year's ceremony was canceled and a slideshow was created to virtually honor the graduates.  A few important points regarding graduation this Thursday evening  at 7 PM at the St. Charles Family Arena.1.  Per the St. Charles Family Arena guidelines, masks are strongly encouraged to be worn by everyone.2.  District personnel and our Board of Education will be wearing masks at all times (only exception will be when one of us is speaking at the microphone).3.  When graduates arrive at the St. Charles Family Arena, they should go to their designated chair on the arena floor.  There will be a large name placard on their chair.  When students go to the stage to get their diploma, they should bring the name placard with them and hand it to the graduation name readers (Ms. Covera and Mr. Lopinot).I will keep you updated on any changes.I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening,  Joe Dobrinic  Pattonville senior families,As we prepare for our graduation ceremony on Thursday, I wanted to make you aware of one major change in our health and safety procedures. Students and guests must wear masks or face coverings when they can’t physically distance at least 6 feet from non-family members. An example of when to wear masks would include: when entering the Family Arena, when walking in the corridors, when seated next to guests that are not family members, etc. Students may take their masks off or pull them down for photos and when walking across the stage to receive their diplomas.The health and safety of all of us is important as we celebrate this wonderful event for our students. Your support and cooperation is greatly appreciated.Graduation admission tickets need to be picked up no later than 3:30 PM on Thursday, July 16.  Tickets can be picked up in Dr. Dobrinic’s office at PHS.If you have family members or friends who are unable to attend the ceremony, the event can be watched online by accessing the following link:  https://youtu.be/h2XdL2wCLQ8   Sincerely,Joe DobrinicPrincipal, PHS Dear Graduates and Parents/Guardians,Pattonville High School graduation is Thursday, July 16, 2020,  at 7 p.m. at the St. Charles Family Arena.  The St. Charles Family Arena will be taking social distancing precautions that include taking graduates and guests’ temperature upon entry to the arena.  In addition, a maximum of six tickets will be provided to each graduate.   During graduation we will honor seniors with individual recognition and awards that they would have received at the May Senior Awards night.  As a result, we will not have a separate Senior Awards Night Ceremony.
