Wednesday, September 29, 2021 YOUR ADVICE, PLEASE.

A number ofpersons had expressed their disliking for Police Personnel. I always maintainedthat in the performance of their duty they are likely to annoy some persons. Mythinking has undergone change yesterday. Why, here is the reason :-

We stay inDDA housing complex of multistorey buildings. We stay on ground floor. Owner ofa flat couple of floors above is getting some work done. Workers had been throwingwaste down. The garbage thus thrown caused filth and made walking difficult.When my wife saw workers going back, she told them not to do so. They told herthat the owner is in the flat and she can talk to him. She went up. On ringingthe bell the door was opened by a man just in pyjamas. He did not have decency to ask her to wait while he puts on top. She told him aboutgarbage being thrown down. He waiving his hands in unwanted way, told her TU JAA, MEIN DELHI POLICE MEIN HOON.

For youradvice, please.

Further tomy post on this subject, I would like to add that apart from what I had stated,there will be need for women orderlies, washerwomen, women waitresses also.There will be need for more Lady Medical Officers posted there as well as womenMedical Assistants including physiotherapists. Lady Psychologists also will beneeded.

It is sonice to see young children below the age of 12 years taking part in competitiveprogrammes on TV. But it is heart breaking to see some of them who do not maketo next stage or do not get selected crying. I feel organizers of such showsshould do something to mitigate their feeling of sorrow. I suggest they couldbe given big chocolate boxes or any such items to make them feel happy.
