Our 9-story building is self-managed by a homeowner’s association with a Board of Directors, so it will feel like your hometown neighborhood.Each Condo unit is individually owned and many owners have made custom changes to upgrade or even combine units. Most owners choose to enjoy their Galveston condo as a second home, but some choose to rent their unit when they are away. How accessible is the Beach and other Galveston attractions? The Beach is in our back yard! There are no busy streets to cross. And, since the Islander East Association owns the land to the water, there’s no vehicular traffic on the beach, except beach patrol and other emergency/maintenance vehicles.Because of our premium East Beach location, you’ll spend less time in your car and more time on vacation! We have knowledgeable attendants who have Galveston tour guide experience and will greet you with a smile. Upon arrival, we will familiarize you with the Occupancy Policies and Rules of our community, as well as the amenities and the surrounding Galveston area.  We have a visitor’s kiosk and provide local tourist information that includes the local activities. After you check in, you’re on Island Time! Are my friends and guests allowed to visit me during my stay? No friends or guests are allowed to visit Renters on the Property during their stay.  Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. The facility and amenities are for owners or renters only. Renters are subject to a fine for each guest on the property. Please visit at other locations off the Property.. Are Pets allowed at Islander East? Pets are strictly prohibited by Renters and Guests.  Violations are subject to immediate termination of the rental agreement with loss of all monies and deposits paid. In addition, the renter is responsible for all damage and additional cleaning fees. Only Islander East homeowners are permitted to have pets on the property. What are the Parking arrangements at Islander East? Islander East is a gated community and a gate code will be provided to you upon check-in. Renter parking is located in designated areas. A limit of 2 cars per rental unit is permitted in our open lot. No boats or trailers are permitted on the site.
