Well, it’s been almost 2 years since I’ve written to you guys, but I think in times of turmoil we return to what we know. You all were such an incredible support system to me for so long, and in times of crisis it’s important to stick together. To get back into the swing of things, I thought I would just start by making a gratitude list.1. The fact that my kids are friends. They have been so supportive of each other, and it’s been refreshing to see.2. Our incredible teachers who gave us so many awesome activities.3. My instagram community. I love all my friends on there and keeping in touch with everyone. I’ve started a highlight section of my favorite Corona Quarantine activities if you want to go see.4. FaceTime with family and friends. We’ve done a FaceTime story time with someone every night, and it’s been my favorite part of the day. It’s kind of like having a babysitter for a little while, which is so welcome. I’ve streamed it to our TV, which makes the kids super engaged.5. My awesome Beacham Company marketing team for adapting so beautifully to this “new normal” and creating unique and useful pieces. I became the Sr. Marketing Director at Beacham last year, and I’m so excited about the work were doing.Everything is new, and each day presents new challenges. Today was harder than yesterday. The future is just so unclear; however, I’ve found so much comfort in this.Also… THIS story about the canals in Venice running clear makes my heart SO SO happy. I recently went to shoot1665 West Wesley Road for Linda Williams.(Beacham Company)I've always loved this house. My godfather lived there when I was young, and I have vivid memories of eating ice cream and playing in the playroom. Later, the house belonged to one of my high school friends, and we made our homecoming float in the driveway! It was also such an iconic house that I drove past every day when I pulled out the back gate of Westminster. I was excited to see how it looked, especially since Linda is so talented at "fluffing" a house. The house had a great feeling, and I loved how neutral it was. Clearly I wasn't the only one since the first people who saw it put it under contract. Way to go Linda!About the home:Comfortably elegant and southern in every way! Each background is different, just like every person is different. Even though we all look similar on the outside, our souls are unique. These kings force the viewer to look past the physical and embrace the inner spirit.
