Description:

The systems and networking group at UCSD engages in a wide rangeof experimental and theoretical research. Our current projects spanfault-tolerant networks and systems, high-speed router design, storagesystem design, network measurement and traffic analysis, peer-to-peersystem design, network security, mobile code architectures,high-performance cluster computing, and wireless networking. Our groupconsists of eight core faculty, five affiliated faculty (in a broadrange of areas including security, machine learning and programminglanguages) and over 50 graduate students and research staff. Congratulations to Priyal Suneja forreceiving the CSEDepartment Student Award for Excellence for 2021! This awardfollows her other awards for Excellence in Service Leadership in2020 and Excellence in Contributions to Diversity in 2019, not tomention all of her leadership efforts for Women in Computing.
