The Kasapis brothers-Eugene, Constantinos (Gus) and Steve opened the first Ram s Horn restaurant in Detroit s Cadillac Square in 1967. The brothers already had years of restaurant experience from helping their father, Demetri Kasapis, at his Receiving Lunch restaurant located in Detroit s Greektown district.With a successful enterprise under their belts, the family closed the restaurant in Greektown and focused on expanding the Ram s Horn brand, granting their first franchise in 1974.
